Spirituality

The monastic life is the Christian life itself; that is to say, a life of charity, which is nourished by faith and hope.


However, the monk performs it in a more intimate state of consecration that fosters in him an awareness of the effective presence of the Spirit of God in all things and, at the same time, of his own inadequacy. (Constitutions Cap 4, art 91)
